A stunning vintage 1920's Whiting & Davis gold mesh gate top purse that is in excellent condition.

The gold mesh is in perfect shiny condition. The interior still has the original lining that is also in fantastic condition, and the original Whiting & Davis tag that is still attached. The lid has a beautiful engine turned design.  It opens and closes as it should, and is a gorgeous piece that would be great for those special occasions or night out on the town.

The purse measures approximately 7 1/4 inches in length not including the chain, and is 5 1/2 inches across the bottom. It has triangular decorative trim at the bottom; which you don't find too often in these gate top bags.

The only issue we could find is some faint scuffing to the lid, but nothing that detracts from the beauty of the piece, and is barely noticeable.
